The Belgian Employment & Compensation practice is fully integrated into the firm’s global network, handling all aspects of employment, pensions, executive compensation, restructuring, workplace investigations, and collective bargaining, both contentious and non-contentious.

Vacancy description

As an Associate Employment & Compensation you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Provide advice on a broad spectrum of employment, compensation, and HR-related matters, including complex disputes and sensitive corporate issues.
  • Work on both Belgian and international matters, including cross-border transactions, restructurings, executive compensation, and collective bargaining.
  • Support clients in workplace investigations, pensions, and employee benefits.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, sharing knowledge and contributing to interdisciplinary projects.
  • Participate in secondments, international assignments, and global team initiatives that broaden your exposure and expertise.

Profile

  • Belgian Master in Law with excellent academic results.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in the employment team of a reputable law firm.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English (spoken and written) and a good command of French.
  • Strong team player, with excellent legal skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and communication abilities.
  • Motivated to work on high-profile, challenging matters in a dynamic, international environment
